My clients on this deck were two architects who had designed the deck to integrate with a large addition that had been added to their home a few years ago. They had saved some of the original Trex compound boards to use as the fascia panels that would wrap around the vertical faces of the three elevations. All the framing underneath was built on concrete piers with treated pine and joist tape installed on top of all surfaces that were to be in contact with the Azek Acacia compound boards used for the decking surfaces. Those were installed with hidden fasteners in most areas with some color matched screws on the perimeter apron boards and steps. A very cool design and interesting challenge getting all the wrapping fascia boards lining up properly with the stairs and various elevation drops.
