This piece was built for neighbors and good friends. Their 100+ year old home had a dilapidated built-in china cabinet. They wanted that removed and new piece designed or the space. The construction is of quarter sawn white oak hardwood and veneers finished with a custom mixed amber shellac dialed in to match the rest of the old original trim in the room. There are soft close hinges on the doors, dovetailed drawer boxes. a very  cool piece to build overall. (Click on the right side of photos to scroll through multiple views).
