Backyard Deck with Planter Boxes, Trellis and Lighting

The homeowner I built this deck for has beautiful gardens and walks in his backyard. There was a small existing deck but he wanted something larger with some custom features. . . large and small planter boxes, a pergola style trellis and perimeter deck lighting. I developed design drawings for the main platform and other elements as well as researching lighting options. I was able to use some of the framing from the previous deck after removing the existing top. All was built out of treated pine. It has a great vibe, especially at night.
