The homeowners of a Wilmette townhouse wanted a banquette/ breakfast nook with bead board seat backs designed and built for their eat-in kitchen. They were looking for a more designed space with a cozier feel to hang out in, eat, socialize and work on their laptops. I prepared drawings as well as building a life size model to figure out the corner construction as well as the angles on the seat backs.
